## Big Tech to Invest $650 Billion in AI Infrastructure in 2026
heres something wild - Bridgewater Associates just dropped an analysis saying Big Tech is gonna pour about $650 BILLION into AI infrastructure this year. were talking Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft collectively. thats an insane amount of money.

from an investment standpoint, this is basically the market telling us AI is not a bubble - its the real deal. these companies are not messing around. they are building massive data centers, buying thousands of GPUs, and racing to dominate the AI stack.

the interesting part: where is all this money going? obviously training large models, but also inference at scale, custom silicon, and the underlying infrastructure to support it all. the capital intensity is unlike anything we have seen in tech before.

personally, I think this validates the AI thesis completely. if Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Meta are willing to spend this much, they see real revenue opportunities. the question is who actually captures value - the hyperscalers building the infrastructure, or the application layer on top? my bet is on the infrastructure players in the near term. they are the picks and shovels in this gold rush.
