## RAM Costs Surge to 35% of HP Laptop BOM, Industry Shocked
Okay so heres something wild - RAM is now 35% of the total material cost for HP laptops. Thirty-five percent!! Thats like, basically the most expensive part now. 

Ars Technica reported this and its kinda crazy when you think about it. Used to be screens or batteries or whatever, but memory prices just kept climbing. Makes you wonder why laptops are still so expensive I guess 🤔

This is probably gonna affect laptop prices going forward, just saying.
